Welcome to Magoffin County, Kentucky!

Named after Governor Beriah Magoffin, Magoffin County is an area very in touch with its heritage.  Through community organizations and activities, this small town on the banks of the Licking River has done an excellent job of preserving its history for future generations.

But don't think of this community as being stuck in the past.  Magoffin County organizations are developing innovative plans to further the community and bring it to the forefront of the local economy.
